I was lucky enough to meet the Son of Capt Stoyanov and learned a few things about his experiences during and after the war.

Can anyone suggest any books that might cover the Bulgarian units that served with the Luftwaffe?

I also met Mr. V. Stoyanov while in Sofia last year. He was quite helpful and told me several very interesting stories about his father and his former comrades.

There is some information in "In the Skies of Europe" by Hans Werner Neulen (English edition) about the Bulgarian Air Force fighting alongside the Luftwaffe (pages 149 to 170).
