looking for WW2 Blade Info

Several years ago i found a Prop blade on a scrapheap. I asked if i could have it that was no problem.

In the mean time i found some info about the blade. The serial number on the blade i found out it was from a FW-190 A9 a very rare blade. There where 3000 A9 build mostly with wooden blades but a third or less equiped with the metal version.

The info i'm now searching for is What happend to the plane where it belonged to.

here are some pics of the blade Warning Large sized photos

The photo with serial numbers visible

Very nice!! however blade number belongs to engine/propellor not airframe. You have a blade from an airplane driven by a bmw801d i think.

mmmmmmmmmm...the serial number is for the Fw190 prop blade with external pitch weights...but I am fairly sure it was not specific to the A9...?

Re: looking for WW2 Blade Info

Well the info about it being a FW190 A9 type blade. I got that from the Fighter Collection in Duxford but that was the only info they could give me.

So i thought well i'll give it a try here.
