Information Concerning the Loss of Uffz. Karl Pilshofer
 
Hi,

Have acquired a sterbebild for a Uffz. Karl Pilshofer. Who was lost in Decemeber 1943 on a bombing mission in the West.

Was he involved in any activity over England?

Please see the attched image of the sterbebild.

21-12-1943 IV/KG6 Heimat flight - crash by Poitiers Ju88A-14 4147 100% - FF Uffz Friedrich Seemuller, B Uffz. Karl Pilshofer, Bf Gef Helmut Fay, Bs Ogef Walter Freundorfer all killed - source Luft QMs returns.
The KG6 book gives on a Night Tatikflug 3km south of Poitiers, wn as 144177 and crew of 11th Staffel. The book says the cause of the crash of this training flight was unknown,
