Can anyone tell me what these RAF terms mean from ORB...

Hello all,

Just doing some research and in a ORB for 103 Squadron, 1944 it uses the following wording:

H.2.S set
'Sowing'

G correct
E 3/4 miles from target - Could these be mines names as it was a Op Gardening.

Can anyone explain these terms?

Thanks,

Danny

Sharon, Sorry, I don't mean to be pig headed but why would you need to quote the first thread message when it is right above your own message, this just fills up the message forum thread server with useless duplicated information.

There is a 'reply' button, there is no need what so ever for quoting the initial message.

Sorry, and I know I just now posted a useless message filling up server space.....

Danny, your ok with the H.2.S reference being to the H2S radar equipment.

Was just one aircraft on this opeartion or does this reference refer to a number of aircraft?

Well,
Thankyou both of you. That helps with the research loads.
