Soviet U-2/P0-2 in Far North 1941/1942

Hi guys

I'm trying to establish the use of the U-2/Po-2 in the Far North theatre during 1941 and 1942.

I'm aware the U-2 ambulance version was fitted with one or two stretchers to enable the pilot to evacuate wounded from the front (in this case Murmansk area) to hospital (Leningrad?) Are there any records/account of these flights?

The Po-2 was used for night interdiction but was it used in Far North?

With the expert help of some of our Russian researcher friends, I have ascertained that the R-5 was used extensively for operations over Petsamo and Kirkenes, but was the Po-2 used as well elsewhere in this theatre?

Any help appreciated, please.

Cheers
Brian
