Information concerning the loss of Feldwebel Sebastian Miehling - pilot - killed 16.04.1945

Hi,

Can anyone provide information on the loss of Feldwebel Sebastian Miehling who was a pilot in a Ueberfuhrgeschwader and was killed in an air battle on the 16th April 1945?

He was a very experienced flier with the EK I and Golden Flight Badge.

IT seems his squadron was a transfer flight. What does this mean? Was he transferring or was he delivering aircraft?

Find out a little more about him on the Kracker archive:

Was in KG51 flying a Me 410A - I don't know if that helps track him down a little more - his sterbebild says he was killed in an air battle.
