Maj. Christoph Prinz von Hessen
 

I recently finished reading "Royals and the Reich" and would like more info on the Luftwaffe career of Maj Chrisoph Prinz von Hessen. I know he was the Ia of JG 53 Apr 1942-Oct 1943 but what did he do beforehand. The author of the above book's knowledge of the Luftwaffe is "limited" to put it mildly and he did not use Prien's JG 53 history as a source. Any help would be welcome thanks in advance.
