Information Concerning the Loss of Gfr. Franz Fruth - 12.12.1942

Hi,

Can anyone provide any information over the loss of Gefr. Franz Fruth who was killed in a flying death on the 12th December 1942 over the West.

He was part of a crew in a bomber squadron. Could you provide details of the unit, aircraft, destination and details of other crew members.

I have attached the copy of the sterbebild.

Looking at The Blitz: Then and Now volume 3 Luftwaffe activity seemed to be directed at North Riding and Durham on the 11/12th ecember with two an aircraft from KG2 being lost on the 12th. Could he be part of this crew?

Many thanks

Rick
