Information concerning loss of pilot Josef Benninger - 23.12.1942

Hi,

Can anyone please supply information n the loss of Uffz? Josef Benninger who was killed in an air death on the 23rd December 1942?

He was with a recon squadron.

1942-12-23, 2./Erg.FAGr., Ju 88 A-5, 880637, 1 km östlich Gaberndorf, nördlich von Eisenbahn Weimar - Erfurt, Absturz infolge technischer Mängel. Bruch 100 %.

Beobachter Lt Olt Voß, Heinrich, +
Bordfunker Uffz Klein, Karl, +
Bordschütze Uffz Penninger, Josef, +
