Information Concerning Loss of Uffz. Sebastian Huber - 14.07.1940

Hi,

Could anyone please give me any information on the loss of Uffz. Sebastian Huber.

He was a Flugfeugführer in a flying staffel who fell on the 14th July 1940.

Looked in'The Battle of Britain Then and Now' and he could be in 2 possible units 11/LG1 or 3 (F)/ 121.

Thanks

Rick

Hello Rick,
Uffz Sebastiaan Huber was a pilot of a Ju87 from 11./LG.1. He died on July 14th 1940 when his unit attacked shipping off Dover. It is believed he was shot down by Gayner, Collard and Hugo of 615sq. Today he is buried at Ysselstein Holland, plot BK, row 2, grave 49.
Hope this helps
Dennis

The BF was Uffz Heinz Hecke. I can't find him on the Volksbund site. On the NVM is wrotten in pencil "Gerichtlich fur tot erklart" legaly pronounced dead. Aperently he was never found.
