Ed,
Photo #1: Me 262 A-1a, “White 9”, WNr.111617, 10./EJG 2. Found badly damaged parked on the edge of the autobahn in the Hofoldinger Forest south of München near Neubiberg in May 1945. Later dragged to a nearby collection site with other Luftwaffe aircraft where it was eventually scrapped. A number of published photos of this aircraft both where it was found and in the junk pile. Photo #2: Me 262 A-1a Jabo (note bomb racks), Uncoded, WNr.111747, unit unknown (Jv 44?). Found damaged near Lechfeld with tail almost severed by retreating German troops. Several published photos of this aircarft at this site. Cheers, David |
Thank you David.

Interesting photos!
Thanks Ed, very interesting as usual!
But I miss the blue "smurfs" flying toy fighters and the pretty girls. I found the latter prettier than those ol' aircraft. One of the sellers announces "Polish" AC but we can see a badly damaged (French) LeO 451. |
