Cdr. John Mc Cain
 

So, the sad passing of Cdr. John Mc Cain has left Naval Aviation much the poorer today, and for me the loss of another one of my many aviation heroes...
America has lost one of it's true patriots, both in war and in peace.

As I complete life's final mission
And am told to RTB
I know I have friends in Delta
Old friends I'll be glad to see
When I hear the Big Airboss' call down
And realize His call is for me
I pray my last ball call is sharp and clear
And my grade is OK-3
