Hello,
From what I have read, on the 12th August "Indomitable" aircraft claimed two and 229 Sqdn(?) Claimed one who's pilot was rescued. But I leave it for you to decide if it fits " Malta".
On the 13th October 1942 Iannucci 352 Sqn,20 Gruppo down in sea off Tigne.
Earlier MC202 recorded was
27th July 1942, Belli 378 Sqn MC202 mm7842, between Dabrani and TaKuljat,l/o Zebugg(Gozo).
No others noted.
Ref is "Battle Over Malta" by Anthony Rogers.
While "Malta the Spitfire Year" has for 11th October, Glazebrook and Ballantyne both claimed an MC202.
Serb. Pedretti(353rd) force lands on return near Gerbini and Capt D'Amico (151Sqn) a/c was slightly damaged.
The raids on the 12th can be read on page 583 to page 592 followed by 13th's raids page 592 to page 598,
Alex
