Walter Oesau speech
It might have been posted here before but I think it is well worth watching:

Thanks for posting. A good part of the footage, including Oesau's speech, has surprisingly good visual fidelity. I especially liked the gun camera films of German fighter attacks on the B-17's and B-24's. I found interesting that many of the attacks depicted were from the rear rather than the head-on attacks discussed often in WWII aerial combat references. I presume that head-on attacks on the heavy bomber formations, while subjecting the attacking fighters to considerably less concentrated return fire, required a high level of marksmanship and steady nerves and therefore were not implemented as often by the less experienced pilots compared to the "old hares". Yep, this is the April 26, 1944 speech - a little over a fortnight later, Oesau would be dead. He always looks so tired during late 1943-44 - you can really tell how much the constant war ages someone by looking at his photographs from the early years to 1944. Gotta love that Nordlich accent, heh heh.
