crash Ju-88 (NJG 2?) normandy june 1944
 

Hi,
I just discovered this forum, which seems to be full of specialists.
I am looking with the mayor of a village near me (8KM SE of Alençon) information about a crash that took place on the night of 22 to 23 June 1944. There were 6 crew members on board 5 are dead burned in the plane and one was rescued by the village forest ranger.
this plane stole at night and take off from Chateaudun so I think it belonged to the NJG 2
do you think it would be possible to find information on this aircraft and especially his crew in view of the construction of a monument recalling the facts
