Sadly, Bob Doe passed away yesterday morning.

The few get fewer.

RIP Bob....a true gent and a very modest soul.

I first became aware of Bob Doe through the various BBC documentaries and then in his book "Fighter Pilot". The opening section of "The Most Dangerous Enemy" by Stephen Bungay which describes Bob Doe is also one of my favorite parts of the book.
