Mosquito crash

On another board a person is asking about a Mosquito crash near Barroway Drove in Oct 1943.

The Barroway Drove History Group is trying to identify the crew members who were killed in order to put them on a new war memorial.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Mosquito crash

Hello,
Any idea as to a date or perhaps early, middle or late part of the month ?
There were at least 36 events with Mosquito's in October 1943.

HAVE JUST SEEN THE THREAD ON WW2AIRCRAFT.NET
JANICE SAYS THERE THE EVENT WAS 1st OCTOBER 1944.

Re: Mosquito crash

They had got down to three possible but the nearest that seemed to fit the details was on the 9th. That is the last I read.
Had spent time checking 1943 so although it was an interesting exercise as it is I will leave this search for others now.
