Fw Saalfeld, 2./KG 101

Re: Fw Saalfeld, 2./KG 101
Hi Chris,
I have the flight log of Saalfeld, Heinz. He survived the war and flew some Mistel (AM 75, AM 77) for the Allies to November 1945. In his FB are also some flights from 1956. I have no information about his fate. Regards Peter |

Re: Fw Saalfeld, 2./KG 101
Yes, he flew for the KG 54 from 1.43 to 1.44, after that Lachen-Speyerdorf (Ar 96, Bf 108 and Bf 109, retraining for fighters I think), from 2.44 to 5.45 Mistel tests and sorties, last wartime flight on 05.05.45 at Tirstrup.

Hi Peter.
Is it possible to obtain copies of his flights from february 1945 until end 45. Especially any connection with Tirstrup, today called Aarhus Airport. Jörn |
