Ofw.Willi Jobes 7 & 8/LG1 and 8/KG6
 

Hi could anybody possibly help with the fate of Ofw.Willi Jobes.

Jobes flew with 7 and 8/LG1 mainly with Oblt..Rudolf Puchinger and subsequently together in 8/KG6. They joined LG1 on 19.3.41, I know Puchinger was kia on 19.6.44 but I have no info on Jobes.
If anybody could help I would appreciate any clues.

Puchinger was KIA on 13 -06-1944 according to volksbund.de

Hi Frans thank you for your reply, however my main focus is on the fate of Jobes if known. I Have a copy of his flugbuch!

I understand there is a book on KG6 by I think Jan Horn, does he list any losses that may include Jobes?

I have the losses from Taghon's LG 1 history & Horn's KG 6 history entered in my db - there are no entries for a Jobes (as spelled) in my Ju 88/188 file.

EP as Uffz 10 Aug 42 & DKiG 8./KG 6 still Uffz 23 Dec 42 but I expect you know this. I will look through the Jansen/Geyr KG 6 history when I have time
