Polish brothers killed in the RAF

Hello ,
Stanislas Siludski and his brother Johann where both killed while serving in the RAF. According to some " sources " Stanislas Siludski was killed on may 25th 1944 over Belgium. His brother was killed near Osnabruck on may 12th 1943. Who can help me with additional information on these two brothers ?

Hello,

I'm sure,t hat the Polish members will help soon, but do you know this site?
http://www.geocities.com/skrzydla/
It is a compilation of the Polish Squadrons with their activities, pilot and loss lists.

And there is a very nice online project about the Polish Squadron's operation record books:
http://orb.polishaf.pl/
So, if you know the unit, you can check the names and their fate as well.

No such names appear on Polish losses.

Alain,

Brothers are fictitious and names were only used in a poem about the "Ghost of Brustem".

I thought that might be the case. A web search turned up only a handful of instances for the name 'Siludski', and all from Belgian poetry websites.

The work was written in serial format and tells of two Polish brothers who as RAF pilots visited attacks on the town of Brustem over a two-year period. As mentioned, the rough translation of the title is 'Phantom Aviators of Brustem'. Perhaps somebody who speaks Dutch can give us a better description of the story.

A full copy of the poem can be found here: http://www.verhalensite.com/info2.ph...&ss=r&id=39106
