Dear Sirs,

I am searching for information about the loss of a P38 in the neighbourhood of Eilendorf, Germany on September 16th 1944.
Pilot was James A Kunkle, who managed to bail of of his stricken P38 of 370FG, 401th FS 9AF, after a dogfight with Maj. Borris or Lt. Kemethmuller.
Is there any information about the location the a/c crashed?
