25 May 1941

Does anyone have information about a German aircraft (probably Ju88) that crashed into the sea off Norfolk between 2058hrs-0123hrs on the night of 25/26 May 1941?

1/Küstenfliegergruppe 506, Ju 88A-4 Werk Nr 0738, Crashed into the sea off Norfolk coast in unknown circumstances, Oberlt J.Löhr, Oberlt F.Pohl and Obergefr W.Nimwegen missing, Body of Uffz H.Biesterfeld washed ashore and buried at Great Bircham, Norfolk on 29th June.

Thanks for your answer. I was aware of the Blitz entry and I do have the 506 KTB for the relevant period. I am hoping that someone might be able to help with cause of loss - as, I assume, were the compilers of the Blitz entry and the KTB!
