Which Fighter/Bomber Unit???
 

Hello,

I´m seeking informations about Robert Kevard. He died 07.Nov.1944 somewere in Germany. I think he was a fighter pilot or a bomber crew member.

Any help is welcome.

You're sure about the correct spelling?

You can search USAF losses there (f.ex. per name and per unit)
But there is no matching KIA entry in the database,
even if you only type in "Ke" into the name field.

Same question from me: any other details available?

The "abmc" website lists only those Americans that are buried or commemorated overseas.
A majority of killed personnel was returned to the US for reburial at the request of next of kin.

The name "Kevard" doesn't appear either on the longer lists on www.accident-report.com This list has names of USAAF personnel involved in airplane accidents and losses.
