Soviet Hurricanes shot down by Yak-1s

Hi guys

Having just read Igor Kaberov's 'Swastika in the Gunsight', I wondered if anyone can provide the date when he and Major Myasnikov of 5 IAP-KBF were shot down by Yak-1s while flying Hurricanes. Myasnikov was killed.

This would have been early 1942. Which Yak unit was involved?

If Maj Myasnikov is Alexandr Fyodorovich Myasnikov as described on http://allaces.ru/p/people.php?id=9112 then he was killed on 11 September 1942.
Unit is given as 5 IAP.

Igor Kaberov: 25.4.1917-2.10.1995
