I know a difficult question but nevertheless will have this thread on the board:

Who can tell me at what date, on which aircraft, and where 'the late'

Air Mech J.F. ('Frank') McCAFFREY - FAA/FX.7732, was taken into captivity. He was 'a guest' in Stalag IV.B (Mühlberg-Elbe) with PoW-number 12648.

Info desperately needed to research a possible war crime committed to a US-airman in Germany, 1944.

Assuming that the article describes the same Frank McCaffrey, it so appears that he was taken prisoner as early as 1941 on Crete.
