1st Lt Vasseur Peter 479FG-436FS

On 23/03/1945 P-51K-5-NT serialnumber 44-11739 479FG-436FS was lost. The pilot must have been 1st Lt Vassuer Peter C -MACR 12672
What happened with the pilot and where did this aircraft crasht ?

Alain,

Lt Vassuer apparently MIA. He is memorized (not buried) at Henri-Chapelle with (official) date of death 23 Feb 1946.

According accident-report.com P-51 was lost over Germany.

can also mean MISSION was to Germany,
not necessarily crash was Germany.

This pilot was shot down on 22/02/1945 near Halbertstadt - macr 12672.
