JGr.102/ I/ZG2- Katzmann and Schuch
 

Gentlemen: I've been trying to track the ultimate fates of Pilots from this unit that participated in the Polish Campaign. The Unit was equipped with the bf-109D at the time,transitioning to the bf-110 in Feb.,1940. There are two pilots whom I have not been able to find any Info. on at all after the end of the Polish Campaign. Uffz. Hans Katzmann, and Uffz. George Shuch. Both did well in Poland, making a number of claims. Did they transition to bf-110's,or remain flying '109's in another unit? Did either man survive the war? Any Information on these,or other pilots from this unit would be most appreciated. Thank You. Dean.
