Question WRT II/JG53 '44 RVT band
 

Hi,

I am in process of painting flight of 109G6 from the II/JG53 at the time of 1/3 of '44 year. While I was searching (books and internet) for any possible reference wrt RVT red band I came accross one profile of Herbert Rollwage's black 2. However as this is the only reference I could found, I am a bit skeptical of the correctness of that profile and it now also opens a question to it.

Does anyone know more about the given red RVT band usage in II/JG53? Was it widespread or used at all in the given Gruppe? If anyone can point me to some photo I would be very pleased as well.
