Tadeusz Andersz passed away

Few days ago passed away gen. Tadeusz Andersz.
He was a long term pilot of 315 Sqn, and at the end of the war, commander of the unit. He was the man who introduced Gabby Gabreski into virtues of air combat in the ETO, leading him on several sorties over Europe. Later they flew together in 61st FS 56th FG. Post war Andersz had a lengthy career in the RAF, mostly as VIP pilot.

His claims were:
04.04.1943 Spitfire IX, 315 dyw. Fw 190
09.04.1944 P-47, 61 Fighter Squadron, Bf 109
probably 21.02.1945 Mustang III, 315 dyw. Fw 190
