19.04.1940: Loss of Flugbereitschaft/I. Flakkorps

Gentlemen,

I recieved informations about the loss of an a/c given with "Fw 34 Weihe" on 19.04.1940. The unit was the Flugbereitschaft/ I. Flakkorps, reason "auf landende Do 17 gerollt (30%)", location: Koblenz-Karthause a/f.

What's about this a/c? A Junkers W 34 or a Fw 58 "Weihe"? Further I have no idea about the involved Do 17...

Everything is welcome!

Regards

Heuser

The loss or accident was on the 14. April and it was reported on the 19. April 1940. The Do 17 in question was undamaged and it was the one that caused the accident during the landing roll. A Bf 109 was also damaged 4%. The aircraft in question was a W 34 according to the Gen.Qu.M. report and it was damaged 30%. Unfortunately this is all the info from the report.

I hope this helps,

Norbert
