wood/paper drop tanks on the 109
 

It is a very knowledgeable group here so am asking,

on another board there is a big discussion on whether the 109 E-7 every carried this type of drop tank?

While I am asking,

1. what was the first operational date of 109s with drop tanks?
(+ mission details if know)

2. what units received E-7s and the dates received?
