Loss of Hurricane BD731

Seeking information on the loss of Hurricane BD731in October 1942. The aircraft was shipped to Russia on the 16th Feb 1942 7 crashed in Finland after combat in Octtober 1942.

Does anybody have any information as to which unit it was serving with, who the pilot was, who shot it down & the exact location of the crash?

Any information of help.

Lots of info via Google. Just type "Hurricane BD731".

Shot down by Me-109s of JG5.

Hurricane served with 3rd Fighter Sqn, 2nd Fighter Regiment in Murmansk area.
Aircraft was recovered in 1997.
