Re: He-111 KG55
Hi, just found among my records that Kaufholds a/c G1+CL was W.Nr 2145
subsequently recovered by the Germans, repaired and put back into service. He111P W.Nr 2145 by now with the 7KG55, was involved in combat duties suffering 40% damage due to enemy fire at Slipcze on 23 June 1941, and then 70% in an accident 25 Nov 42 with FFS C13 Brunau. Re: He-111 KG55
Steve: I responded to this before. The ac was on fire hence most were badly burned so am surprised that an ac that crashed behind enemy lines and on fire was recovered and put back in the air again?
