Uffz Kleine Erich was killed when his Me-109 crashed near Veurne ( Belgium ) on January 21th 1944.Can someone help me with the werknumber and unit of this aircraft ?

I ask because there is a Kleine, Kurt killed in Jan '45 with a training unit and a Klein (no "e" on the end), Erich killed in may 1945 with JG 5 while assigned to RLV duties.

I have found the Bf 109 G-6 / 163547 from EinsSt./EJG 1, which crashed on 22. Jan. 1945 near Melun. The name of the pilot was Fhr Kurt Kleine.

Hi,

Uffz. Erich Klein was an observer in a Do 17 of the 1./KG 2 shot down into the sea 20 km S. of Dungeness. His body was washed ashore on the Belgian coast and buried at Veurne.
