Lt Jardine SAAF

Hi,

Does anyone have any info on Lt Jardine (103692) during his service with the SAAF?

He later served with the RAFVR and 263 Squadron flying Whirlwinds as a Sgt (711019) until his death on 21st September 1942.

Any help would be appreciated.

Alex,

A review of all of my sources reveals no pre-WWII SAAF service mention of Lt. Jardine. I found an A.M. Jardine P/O, F/O, F/L in the RAF as of 1937 who flew in Malaysia so not the same guy. I looked in all the indexes of the SAAF WWII service histories. You will need something more particular to a pre-WWII enlistment list.
