Hello Mike

Mike,

just like the first one also Ofhr. Paul Brühl is still listed as Missing In Action. If somebody indeed recovered the a/c and found identification on the a/c remains and even maybe human remains..... than they are not the best recovery group around to put it mildly....

regards,

John Manrho.

Hi John

It does seem strange, I ask because a few items of wreckage have turned up with these histories attached, having one missing pilot is odd but two is very odd, I was just trying to see if anyone knew if this had been the case, as I am not aware of anyone doing this kind of work in the Luxembourg are but it was alleged to have been about 15 years ago I am not sure what to think really

Hi - Paul Brühl's plane was shot down over Baschleiden, Luxembourg. He was buried somewhere in the surroundings by a Luxembourger but his grave could not yet be discovered even after meticulous researches up there in the North of Luxembourg.Unfortunately this man who buried him died a long time ago and could not be contacted by me anymore.

However I found Paul Brühl's pilot-watch close to the spot where the plane came down.
Still continuing my researches and digging work.....

Re: Paul Bruhl 8JG1

And did you report the find of personal belongings to the proper authorities and did you hand over that personal belonging (watch) to the WASt?

Cheers,

JM

Hello !
I reported the find immediately but they were not interested at all &
only answered that Paul Brühl is still missing and they (the WASt) even
ignored my 2nd letter.
The watch is not engraved with Paul Brühl's name but it was exactly at the spot were the plane came down and burned completely.
I'm in constant contact with the German Military Cemetery in Sandweiler,
Luxembourg. They know me and they also know that I'm still researching.
The German authorities don't have the time to do so appropriately.
