The above was St Kap of 1/SKG 10, then Gr Kdr of I/SKG 10 before being replaced by Hptm Kurt Dahlmann. Does anyone know what Gerlach did beforehand? He was awarded the Pokal in 1942 as a bomber pilot; there was Geralch with KG 26

For those interested after such a long time, I think I have found him as being with I/KG 4 at the start of the war; any thoughts?

Hi Larry

I have been trying to identify the forename of a Hauptmann Gerlach of III./Jg302, I assume he was Kommandeur their, made a claim on 31st March 1944, so even the date seems about right! Could this be your man?

Looks likely-he had night combat experience with I/SKG 10 so looks logical
