Halifax crash - bomb found at Balkholme

On BBC News 24 an article this lunchtime about closure of M62 as Army EOD detonate a bomb found at crash site of RAF bomber. Presumably this is one of the Halifax III a/c of 578 Squadron that collided on 20/21 July 1944? Said to have been "found deeply buried by a metal detector enthusiast". Looks to be causing some travel havoc!

Good job they are not over here there are things piled up by the roadside and no one panics, mind you that is a bit bigger
