The date and the AAF-s/n can be confirmed. The time of loss is apx. 14:20 hrs this day.

Fuel problems can also confirmed by MACR # 11503

The MACR bail-out area is according in this report somewhere between Siegburg and airstrip Wahn at the the East side of the Rhine-River, Germany, very far away from Belgium.

But in those days with the enormous air-movements by Allies and Germans, some observations might have failed the target. If this pilot has survived, he may has well come down on Belgium soil.

German Report J-2905 indicates D(h)onrath 20 km SE of Cologne.
