Fate of Heinz Birk, 9./JG5?

Hi guys.
(Wrong heading, it should be 12./JG5)
I'm building a model of Heinz Birk's Fw190A-8 Blue 5 Wnr 732217 from 12./JG5. The aircraft carried the name "Ma". It appears at least his aircraft was shot down on March 21 north of Bergen, but luftwaffe.no does not say whether Birk was flying. In any case the pilot survived.
A picture of Birk's aircraft shows the rudder with 12 kills, but according to various ace-sites he got 14 confirmed kills.
- Do you know if he got these last two kills before March 21?
- What happened to Birk eventually? Did he continue flying with 12./JG5?

Regards,
Kyrre
