KG14 Control Stick Grip?

The KG14 stick grip was used in Fw 190, Hs 129 and Me210/410 airplanes (others?). In addition to the typical weapon firing trigger and buttons and a radio button, it had a selector lever to choose the gun combination fired by the trigger. At one time I thought I heard/read that this lever proved troublesome on early 190As during combat and was disliked by some pilots. Most later 190s used the KG13 grip that did away with the lever. Can anyone give any further information about the use of the KG14 and pilot's opinion of it. Thank you.
