Who attacked Mostar airfield 12-11-43 ?
 

Can anyone tell me which allied unit attacked Mostar airfield and destroyed two Hs 126’s in a low level attack.

According this website http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/...ses/losses.htm the Henschels were destroyed by DAF (Desert Air Force) Spitfires.

Mostar - Rodoc airfield was attacked in poor weather by P-40s of 57th FG and Spitfires of No 601 Sqn. The attack was result of recce that had showed 15 Ju 88 (???) on the airfield. Total claims were 2 Ju 88s, 1 He 111 and 1 Hs 126 destroyed and 2 Hs 126s damaged. Of these, No 601 had only one claim (burner), others claimed by Kittyhawks.
