Need info on 3 test pilots.

I have some photos from 3 German test pilots to publish in a book and like to find some information on them.

1 - Wendelin Trenkle ( Messerschmitt )

2 - Willi Stör ( Messerschmitt )

3 - Arthur Benitz ( Bücker ). Arthur Benitz went to Brazil around 1937/38 in a promotional tour in a Bü 133 ( D-EJWD ?). In according with Pierre Clostermann ( that calls him Karl Benitz ) in an article published in Brazil, he was his flight instructor at Aero Clube do Brasil (Rio de Janeiro) and was KIA on Russian front in 1943 flying a Me 109.

I would appreciate some info about them during and after WW2 when available. Thanks in advance.

Still could not find any info on those pilots. Sent a message to Bücker Museum but still no reply. Are there any web page dealing with test pilots where I could find more info?

Willi Stör was a WW I fighter pilot, multiple German aerobatics champion in the 20s and 30s, and flight instructor at the Verkehrsfliegerschule Schleissheim. Among his students were WW II aces like Günther Lützow, Hannes Trautloft, Wolfgang Falck and many others. To my knowledge, he died in the mid-70s in Germany.

Thanks Kurt. I also know Trenkle survived the war since found some signed comemorative envelopes by him and other pilots being auctioned.

Stör was also at Regensburg in the beg of the 40ties

Wilhem Stör was born at Witten in the Ruhr area on Oct 5th 1893. He served with a Hussar regiment in 1914 and transferred to aviation in 1917. Posted to Jasta 68 on April 7th in 1918 he recieved the Iron Cross after his first victory that same month. He was credited with five victories, although only four has so far been found in German records. He himself always claimed that he had shot down three aircraft and two balloons.
Post war he served with the "forces in the Baltic" (does not say if this apply to German troops or any of the Baltic States) and later became an aerobatic instructor at Schleissheim. A very well known stunt pilot during the thirties and ranked among such pilots as Gerhard Fieseler and Ernst Udet. He also became a test pilot with Messerschmitt. Flying a M.35 he won the German Master Aerobatic Contest in 1935. During WW 2 he brought two Bf 109 fighters to Japan. He died in Augsburg on Dec 12th, 1977 aged 84
