I expect you know that Donald Lintern was posted to Malta and promptly shot down and killed in combat with Italian fighters on 29/9/41.

I'm new to the board. I hope the following helps with your enquiries.

J. Maddocks 522229 RAFVR
Nationality: British. Rank: Sgt. Squadron: 263. In: 1st July 1941 from 56 OTU. Out: 1st October 1941 Posted. First Op: 18th September 1941. Squadron: 137. In: 1st October 1941 from 263 Squadron. Out: 7th January 1942 Injured. First Op: 15th November 1941. Hours: 23.02. Sorties: 19. Remarks: Crashed in P7062 at RAF Coltishall 7th January 1942 and was badly injured, subsequently posted to ground duties.

Arthur Lee-White
Nationality: Canadian. Rank: P/O, F/O - 24th March 1943. Squadron: 263. In: 13th October 1942 from 59 OTU. Out: 20th June 1943 Posted. First Op: 10th November 1942. Awards: DFC - 13th June 1943. Hours: 44.31. Sorties: 35. Kills: Fw.190 damaged 16th May 1943. Remarks: Hit by flak 23rd May 1942 in P7059 whilst attacking a Convoy near Cap de la Hague. The starboard engine caught fire and he crash-landed at RAF Warmwell. Posted to HQ Fighter Command for Liaison Duties with the 8th USAAF at Goxhill on 9th February 1943 then to AFDU Wittering.
I believe he is still alive and living in Canada.

Colin Bell was a RAAF pilot and he was posted out early in 42. If you need it I can dig out his service record and give you more details.
