Staffelkapitaen 5/Stg77 early June 1942
 

Hello,
I wonder if anyone would know the Staffelkapitaen of 5/Stg77 on 2nd June 1942? I would be very grateful if someone could provide me with this information.
I am researching the career of a Bordfunker called Unteroffizier Hans Bottenenberg 5/StG77 who was lost over Sevastopol on 2nd June 1942. If anyone has any information as to his loss and who was his pilot on this flight, I would be even more grateful!

Are you in touch with Steven Sheridan as I believe I sent him the info on Bottenberg? Guess he has some documents as well

I think, in that period of time, Staffel-Kpt. of 5./St.G.77 was Hptm. Heinz-Günter Amelung

According to my notes, Amelung left on 31 March 1942.
Unfortunately, I don't have the name of his successor. Ludigkeit ?

Yes, thats wright, it was Staffelkapitän Hptm. Günter Lüdigkeit, for some short time Staffelführer Herbert Piske.
Since 3. August 1943 Hptm. Manfred Goetze had become Staffelkapitän of 5./St.G. 77
