I am looking for information on a Ju-188 loss the night of the 10/6/1944 nearby Carentan , shot down by a night fighter .
Ju-188 A-2 8./KG 6
Pilot and crew missing? FjFw Schmidt Helmut (MIA)
Obgefr Brückner Kurt (MIA)---Uffz Effelsberg Willi (MIA)---Gefr Struch Helmut (MIA)

I have either no WNr- and radio letter

Phil: I am away from home at the moment. I have the NVM but will warn you that KG 6 were poor at recording ac details. Will get back tomorrow

As I thought-crew names only and no ac details. It was 9/10 June not 10/11 June
