Hi,

I have serial: 30 and markings white 7 or 8. It was lost due to Flak probably in the night. I have only two crew members:
- Lt.Col.Dagnaux WIA (plane`s CO)
- Lt.Franck Fremond (pilot)

Robert

Hello Robert,

Thanks! So the crew would be:

Lt.Col.Dagnaux WIA (plane's CO)
Lt.Franck Fremond (pilot) - safe?
and maybe Colonel François (fate unknown)? Or is Colonel François maybe Lt. Col.
François Dagnaux?

Regards,

Bart

Good morning;

Some information about Jean Dagnaux:

He was shot downn by german Flak during the night of 17/18 May 1940, between Guise and Vervins, town located in the north east of France. The Amiot crashed just before the church of a little village whose name is "la Vallée au Bled". There was a crew of 4 men, two dies an two escaped using their parachute.

Pilot : Frank Fremond (escaped)
Radio : Raymond Regnault (escaped)
Bomber : Maurice Lavolley (died)
Dagnaux, who took the place of the upper gunner before starting, died too with the planes's crashed.

The Amiot started from Nangis, a the east of Paris, in order to have a look of the german colunns near Chimay in Belgium, and eventually to drop bombs.

best regards
