Beaufighters

Hi Iam trying to research two Beaufighters that were shot down on the 24.12.41 in North afrika by a Pilot from II/JG27 his name was Hans Nitzsche,any help in Identifying these aircraft would be appriciated.

Nitzsche was with III./JG 27 (8. Staffel) at this time. The following quote is from Shores & Ring, "Fighters Over the Desert:"

"Lt. Nietsche (sic.) of III/JG 27 claimed to have destroyed two Beaufighters over the Gulf of Aughila, but 272 Squadron did not record any losses."
