14 august 1943 loss
 

Hi All
When I replied to the thread on Ju 88 D-1, 7A+NH shot down 12.Aug. 1943, I mentioned about a possible air raid on plymouth and the loss of a HE-III in Whitsands bay,on the 14th Aug 43.
I suddenly realised this is the same day that Reg Baker claimed a HE-III nr Guernsey at 23.00hrs.
And thought that it might be the same a/c.
Does anyone know the losses for the 14th over the south west channel ? ( it may not have been a HE-III )
or know if a air raid occurred on Plymouth on the 14th Aug 43 ?

Home office reports show a raid on Plymouth by 35 bombers and fighter-bombers on 11/12th August and an attack on Portsmouth on 15/16th August,
