SKG 10 losses 1943

Hello gentlemen ,

I'm looking for the definitive losses I/ and II/SKG10 from March to May 1943 . How many crashed in France ? I still have an unidentified Fw 190 pilot killed near Fecamp and can't find anything with JG2 and JG26 casualties here for certain.

Thank you

Laurent

Laurent

My book 'Tip & Run' gives the definative day losses and my book on I/SKG 10's night losses is currently with the publisher due out in the Summer and includes a similar list. If you have a specific question, please PM me

Hello Chris!

can you give us a few details about your new book?
will it be done by Crécy again?

best regards
phil

Phil

The book is being done by Chevron-120 photos from me plus whatever Eddie Creek can add, just under 20000 words text with list of Executive officers, known sorties, losses, kills, maps, colours drawings. Unfortunately, unlike the 'tip & run' raids, attacks by FW 190s at night were rarely observed (apart from by the RAF nightfighter pilots who shot them down!) so a 75000 word book like my 'tip & run' book was never feasible

Hello Chris!

that sounds just great :)
I found your Tip and Run book a great read and am now greatly looking forward to your book about the "dark" (eg night) side of those attacks.

all the best

Hi, Chris and Adriano

If you are researching a FW 190 in France during that period you also have to take into account the IV. Gruppe and the Erg.St. as these at least in my database seems to have lost aircraft in France.

Regards,
Andreas B
